The Homestead is a "new concept" in

 a Convenience Store and your store for fine Wines!

The Homestead Grocery and Deli, located in Amherst, NH is owned and operated by Ralph and Janet Melchionda. Ralph managed a grocery store for 28 years and has always had the desire to open a business of his own. Together we have worked at making The Homestead a store like only a few others. We have made it a place that customers can come to for a gallon of milk, dinner or even a bottle of wine! And most importantly, be affordable! The Homestead has become a “new concept” to the old idea in a neighborhood convenience store image.

Both of us have a passion for food and a desire to turn our business into an affordable alternative to the large chain grocery store. We want to fill our customers’ needs and welcome their suggestions. You will find us both at the store working everyday to bring our customers the very best. We have already made many changes to the Homestead Grocery and Deli. Specials will be added continuously so make sure you check back here and stop by the store often. As we add new products and services, they will be posted to the What We Offer page!
